About me

As a survivor of sexual abuse I have spent most of my life in survival mode, disconnected from my true self, unable to live a self-led authentic life. I have been an extreme people pleaser living with the core belief of not being good enough, not being worthy, not being lovable. I have been deep down in my own darkness, unsure of if I would ever see the light of day again. I have self medicated with work, sex, drugs and alcohol, resenting myself in every way possible. Most people who know me, do not know this. They did not see it or me, as I simultaneously been very high functioning, happy go lucky and always presenting my big smile and my big heart.

Growing up in a politically engaged family with parents who taught me about solidarity, social justice and equity, I have always wanted to make and be a change in the world, both for myself and others. So here I am, trying to be and make that change. And maybe, just maybe, you would like to do it with me.

Work experience

Health and fitness

Having lived and battled with PCOS, Endometriosis, Adenomyosis and PTSD, my health is my number one priority and I plan my life around it accordingly. Without my health, I have nothing.

So I pay attention to food - what, when and how I eat. I pay attention to sleep - when and how I sleep, and how I prepare for sleep. I pay attention to my physical body and spend everyday moving it, whether that is by doing Weightlifting, CrossFit, Yoga, going for a run or a for walk in nature. I also pay attention to what I watch, what I read, what I listen to and I pay attention to the people I choose to engage with.

Taking good care of my mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health is how I am able to live a full life. So my question for you is: How is your health? Are you taking care of your self? Do you live a full life? If not, I am here to help you if you want me to.

I have personal experience from many different training modalities and have been a competitive masters athlete in Olympic Weightlifting, holding medals from European Masters Olympic Weightlifting Championship and Norwegian Masters Olympic Weightlifting Championship.

I have long experience working with health and fitness in general and currently I work as fitness instructor at a local gym and as a personal trauma informed trainer for a group of female survivors of domestic abuse.
